Matt Yardley

I grew up on a sugar cane farm in the heart of Zululand, KwaZulu Natal. It was here that my love and passion for the bush was born. I spent everyday outdoors exploring the wilds of the Zululand bush that surrounded the farm and my Zulu friends graciously taught me the art of tracking as well as other bush tricks. After boarding school, a short stint in Australia (where I studied audio engineering) and a 5 year retail career, the bush kept on willing me back and so I eventually packed it in and followed my passion where my guiding and photographic journey began. I began my guiding career at the famous Phinda Private Game Reserve. From there I have guided all over Africa whether it be bird guiding, turtle guiding, big game and dangerous game walking safaris and overland expeditions I have done it all but my true love was always photographic guiding. I know find myself exactly where I want to be. Planning and guiding safaris and private photographic safaris all over the world.

Fine Art Prints
We have two papers to choose from for our fine art prints. A 285-gram Lustre (semi-gloss) paper by TECCO and a smooth 200-gram True Fibre Matt by FELIX SCHOELLER. Both are high quality fine art papers producing pin sharp detail, suitable for colour and black and white photographic reproductions and meet Archival standards.

Framed Prints
Our custom wood frames are finished in either black, white or natural wood. Sizes shown are the print size and images are mounted with between a 40mm – 60mm white art board depending on the size of the print. For delivery and courier purposes we use clear acrylic with glass available on frames collected from our studio in Durban. Alternate framing is available on request.
10-12 day production time.
Premium Stretched Canvas
Our canvases are printed on a premium 380-gram Exhibition Matt Canvas by INNOVA. This heavyweight canvas is Archival Certified and finished off with a matt varnish to seal the surface and extend the UV resistance. Images are printed with a gallery wrap and stretched over 35mm high Obeche frames.
5-7 day production time.
Wood Framed Canvas
Our wood framed canvases are handcrafted, individually made and fitted to a premium stretched canvas. The wood has been carefully selected for its grain and color. This simple but beautiful wooden frame is a great way to elevate your artwork on any wall! Also available in black, white and ebony on request.
